Girl..

The new born wails,

The relatives sigh relief,

As the father enters,

Sees the beauty of his born,

A frown passes by,

The atmosphere changed,the mirth fathomed,

The man who brought it to life,

Goes to deprive the child of its right to life,

It is the mother who weeps,

The baby yearns for the mother,

The child clueless,ignorant of the death to come,

All this only because a girl is the child...
